Scope
These terms govern general use of epicbiketrails.com. A specific proposal, booking contract and applicable supplier terms will govern any purchased services. Mandatory consumer rights always prevail.
Information is not a booking
Website descriptions, maps, route data, difficulty ratings, estimated timings, seasonal advice, availability, photographs and prices marked “from” are general and indicative until confirmed in binding booking documentation. Submitting an enquiry does not create a reservation.
Outdoor risk
Mountain biking is an inherently hazardous outdoor activity. Risks include falls, collisions, traffic, unstable surfaces, weather, heat, cold, altitude, mechanical failure, remoteness and delayed emergency assistance. Website information cannot eliminate these risks or replace current local information, official instructions or a rider’s judgement.
Riders must choose activities appropriate to their health, experience, fitness and technical ability; use suitable equipment; check current access, weather and trail conditions; comply with local rules; and obtain appropriate travel, medical, rescue, accident and cycling insurance.
Routes, maps and GPX files
Route materials are planning aids and may become inaccurate because of closures, erosion, construction, private-property restrictions, forestry work or weather. Inclusion of a route does not guarantee lawful access, maintenance, safety, signage or suitability for every rider. Official closures and lawful instructions must always be followed.
Independent suppliers and links
Independent suppliers control their own services. Our responsibility for a service depends on the contractual role stated in the applicable booking documents and mandatory law. Links to third-party websites do not place their content, security or privacy practices under our control.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses caused solely by a user’s unlawful conduct, failure to follow safety instructions, use of outdated information without checking current conditions, or circumstances outside our reasonable control. Nothing excludes liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, legally attributable death or personal injury, or any consumer, package-travel or other responsibility that cannot legally be excluded.
Acceptable use
You must not disrupt the website, introduce harmful code, submit false or abusive enquiries, impersonate others, violate intellectual-property or privacy rights, or use our content to facilitate unlawful access to land, trails or facilities.
Law and disputes
Spanish law applies. If you are a consumer, disputes will be heard by the courts determined under mandatory consumer rules, and this clause does not deprive you of non-excludable protections in your country of habitual residence.
